Summary:

Responsible for all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, training, development, job evaluations, and performance reviews. This position has a broad range of responsibilities which will require self-direction, effective communication, and collaboration in support of departmental and company programs and initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and orientation of employees.
  • Market employment opportunities to potential employees through various mediums such as face-to-face, presentations, job fairs, associations, networks, job boards, and social media.
  • Administer, maintain, and oversee the employee lifecycle (training and development, performance reviews, workforce planning, and other employment areas) and provide necessary communication, training, and review.
  • Thorough understanding of the daily duties and responsibilities of many positions and extensive collaboration with all areas of the organization to achieve the best results.
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare data to provide management with information and suggestions on a variety of employment, benefits, compensation, personnel, payroll, systems, and regulatory topics.
  • Evaluate and analyze existing HR policies, procedures and processes; draft, propose and implement changes and/or quality control measures leading to best practice operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a reliable resource and advocate for employees. Seek to resolve employee issues and/or complaints related to hourly compensation and/or benefits. Refer difficult or very complex complaints to the Manager of Human Resources as needed.
  • Remain current on industry trends and regulatory requirements and make recommendations for enhancements or improvements.
  • Keep up-to-date on all legal and government requirements associated with personnel management, including the hiring, recruiting, and disciplining of employees.
  • Provide support to supervision in maintaining the policies and procedures of the company.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: Associate's degree in human resources, finance, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of two years of progressively responsible related work or course-related education and experience required. Experience in hiring or marketing preferred.

Math Ability: Must possess strong mathematical and analytical abilities. Have experience with mathematical and financial concepts, accounting, and statistical analysis.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, employees, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills: Must have strong, current, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Advanced experience using Excel is highly preferred.
